Il Manto
Il Manto is a place where children and young people are accompanied in the discovery of their talents through the sharing of simple everyday life.
Each one is unique, welcomed for who they are.
Alongside children and families
Since 2005, Il Manto has served children and young people in the local community and their families, offering educational support services, personalised pathways, and psycho-educational guidance.

School-Cometa-home transport
A service to help families and to make children feel “awaited” and loved.
Lunch and snack together
Moments where children feel welcomed and can talk with their peers and educators — key occasions for the support and growth of the child.
Study support
Both individually and in groups, guided by educators or teachers, it aims to recover and strengthen the child’s learning process and to develop an effective individual study method.
Workshops
Designed to engage children and young people after study time, they support growth through educational ateliers and playful, creative, and expressive activities that foster learning and personal development.
At the table I always like to sit in the same spot, my spot: I’m at home.

Learning, growing, discovering
Every activity is designed to support the holistic development of children and young people, encouraging peer sharing, curiosity, and self-confidence.
Here they learn to be with others, to take care of one another, experiencing every day concrete opportunities for personal growth and authentic relationships.
La Scuoletta
La Scuoletta is a project of school integration that helps children discover their competence in an environment different from school, integrating academic knowledge and language with practical life.
The purpose of La Scuoletta is not just doing, but helping children become aware of what they can do and how they do it.
This project involves children aged 4 to 13, who collaborate in preparing and tidying up lunch, in designing and tending the garden, in creating stories, and in making handcrafted objects. And, when practical problems arise, they work on problem solving and frustration management.
At La Scuoletta, every child is guided to discover their abilities, through small daily gestures and moments of sharing and collaboration.
Activities
Lunch preparation and tidying up
In the kitchen context, logical-quantitative activities and executive skills prevail, such as estimating and verifying quantities, learning about the food supply chain, ingredient and labour costs, and estimating a sustainable menu budget.
Garden design and care
Identifying shapes and perimeters, building a square metre, discovering how much a square metre of wheat produces, sowing and planting, reconstructing supply chains — from the wheat ear to the pasta on the plate.
Story creation
Understanding and producing a coherent, cohesive story — some based on scientific research — knowing how to illustrate and sometimes dramatise them, recreating the settings.
Handcrafted creations
Designing anything each child wishes to create through various stages such as work planning, breaking down the object they want to make, and problem solving. This activity allows the observation of knowledge and the emergence of skills, talents, and strategies.
A space of relationship and discovery
Adults and children become a community in search of meaning, discovering how things work. Each one works on their own idea.
For each child, in agreement with their school, tailored materials are created to promote targeted and
functional learning to enhance their abilities.
Each term, the Talent and Potential Curriculum of each child is shared with the family and the school.
Melograno
The Melograno Child Development Centre was created with the aim of fostering and supporting the growth of children and young people with learning difficulties through personalised psycho-diagnostic assessments and rehabilitation pathways.
Assessment is placed at the service of the person as it enables the definition of the functional profile, which represents the foundation for implementing core skills and abilities.
- Rehabilitation Clinic
- Psychology Clinic
- Learning disorders
Support and development
The pathways combine clinical and pedagogical tools to develop the cognitive, emotional, and social skills of each child, valuing their unique abilities.
The centre promotes psychological wellbeing, independence, and active participation, offering a safe and welcoming environment where every young person can grow and express their potential.
