On the field to grow
Our Amateur Sports Association was founded in 2002 and promotes and supports the growth journey of children and young people through physical and sporting activities.
Always keeping education and the child’s growth at the centre of the action, the aim is to enhance their potential and talents by fostering the development of the dimensions that build personality: motor, cognitive, relational, and emotional.
Objectives
- Developing each person's potential through a motor-sports pathway based on a precise methodology: the goal is to help young people build their mental, physical, technical, and strategic abilities (a collective way of thinking), appropriate to their personal development.
- Promoting, through teamwork, solid friendships based on a common goal and on sharing commitment.
Educating through sport
We put every young person at the centre, fostering the discovery of their potential and the building of meaningful relationships.
Inclusion is the starting point: we believe every young person should have the opportunity to get involved and feel part of a group.
Every child and young person is accompanied by qualified coaches who guide each one through a personalised educational and technical pathway.
Every coach participates in regular training sessions and is supported by a sports tutor with psycho-pedagogical expertise.
Why futsal?
The smaller pitch makes the game more engaging: players have more opportunities to touch the ball, attack, defend, and actively participate in the action, covering more “roles” during the same match; even the goalkeeper has more chances to prove themselves.
In this format, young players are more frequently required to solve different game situations, in spaces and times better suited to their motor abilities, thus fostering the development of their skills.
All of this fosters personal growth and helps players better understand the meaning of teamwork. Matches with fewer players also help to strengthen cognitive, physical, and technical-coordinative skills: truly “child-friendly” football.
Sport is an experience of self-involvement, a real life experience of thought, action, the ability to relate, knowing how to start again after a mistake, and accepting oneself.
The relationship with families
To follow each child’s growth, it is essential to engage with the family: we offer listening, financial support through sports scholarships, and transport services to ensure that every athlete can take part in the activities.
